The Curse of The American Presidents



An American Indian Chief named Tecumseh placed a curse on our American Presidents starting with William Henry Harrison. The curse stated that an American leader would be killed every generation. It seems that Tecumseh was angry because of the way his people were treated in the Indiana Territory, which coincidentally, was governed by future President William Harrison. After that, approximately every 20 years, an American President died in office. This curse would not be broken until President Ronald Reagan, who was elected in 1980, cheated death during an attempted assassination. When he did this, he became the first President since 1840 to be elected in a year ending with a zero who did not die in office.
Apparently there are two versions of this curse. The second one involves the Indian Removal Act of 1830 which was backed by President Andrew Jackson. According to this version Seminole Chief Osceola in Florida was believed to swear an eternal oath of war and destruction upon the future Presidents of the United States…
